Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

An abstract formed by mountain wave down wind of the Rocky Mountains. The affect occurs as the air undulates in a sinusoidal manner after passing the mountain obstruction leaving patterns like this. The peach colors in the pattern were generated by the late afternoon sun. The image was captured in Didsbury Alberta using 3 exposures one stop apart and merged to HDR in Photomatix.
