The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

In the depths of the winter the sun has a difficult time seeing over the mountain ramparts that surround Lake Louise on three sides. This picture was taken from the Tea House trail at mid day on January 1st.
