The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My wife and I got a little behind this storm as it was moving east from the Cochran area of Alberta. We were hoping to see signs of a tornado or funnel cloud but no luck, however the storm itself was beautiful.
